Beach Vacation

Don't you just hate going to the beach and it is so crowded you can hardly find a place to set up your stuff?

Dallin's chill spot.

Weston and his cousins: Johnny and April.

Dallin's reaction to having his toes dipped in the ocean.

Watching dolphins. Can you spot them? I barely caught a couple of pictures of them.

Big thank-you to Auntie Susan and Janet for the use of their beach house!

Blessing Day

Why are the most important days the most stressful?

I have 2 pictures from when Weston was blessed and 2 pictures from Dallin's blessing. Weston's pictures are so nice and Dallin's pictures just scream "chaos" to me. Especially the family picture. Does anyone know how to keep a 3 year old still for a picture after 3 hours of church??

Dallin is getting his picture taken while mom is in the back ground fighting to get Weston's tie on. Once at church, Dallin has his first ever blow-out in his blessing outfit. Mom is frantic in the mother's lounge trying to get the spot out of his shorts while the opening song is being sung. I've got to get him cleaned up, fed, dressed and back into sacrament meeting or he is going to miss his own blessing. :)
Also, Mike wants to note that Dallin filled up his diaper during his blessing.
It was a beautiful blessing and a happy day, just a little bit CRAZY!

Mr. Bright Eyes

Maybe it's just because I'm his mommy, but I can't get enough of Dallin's big bright eyes. They just convey so much affection. You can't look at him without falling in love with him.

Nap time with daddy.

Chocolate Syrup

Dallin doesn't seem to like his pacifier. I feel like my life could be so much easier if he would just take his pacifier. So I got an idea that maybe if I put a little chocolate syrup on the end, he would like it.

The verdict: Dallin loves chocolate syrup, but still not fond of the pacifier. Would you look at that smile? You can't tell me it's "just gas".

Any more ideas???

Westonisms

Baby Dallin was crying while we drove home tonight. I suggested to Weston that he talk to Dallin to make him feel better.

Me: Weston, say "It's okay Dallin"
Weston: It's okay Dallin

Me: "We are almost home"
Weston: We are almost home.

Me: "Weston loves you"
Weston: yeah...

Earlier today Weston was struggling trying to move a comforter onto the bed.

Weston: (Grunting) I can't do it, mama.
Mama: Try harder, Weston.
Weston: (yelling) NO, YOU TRY HARDER, MAMA!

brothers

This was our attempt at pictures of the boys. I think it's apparent we need professional help.
