Late night funny

It's after 10:00 p.m. I hear toys rustling around in Weston's bedroom. I go in, turn on the light and see Weston up out of his bed looking sheepish. Then I notice that there are less toys on the floor than when we put him to bed.

Me: Weston, what are you doing?

Weston: I gotta clean up the toys, mama.

Me: You are cleaning up your toys?

Weston: Yes.

So I turned off the light and walked out.

I can still hear him in there finishing up the last bit of legos.

He gets "OCD" from his father's side of the family.

I have to put Dallin in there if I am going to take a shower and Weston loves coming in and out. Dallin just loves to be anywhere that Weston is.

Bowling

Weston and his BFF Nicole, went bowling for the first time this weekend. The kids loved it. Sadly, Weston had the high score for the majority of the game- which included 3 adults. Finally Daddy upped his game and won.

Dallin is beginning to test my Strategy for Sanity

Dallin

Dallin has had an exciting month.

He learned to crawl, pull himself to standing and has started cruising. (Heaven help his mama.)

He adores his big brother (and I blame this affection for how fast he is learning to walk and eventually keep up with Weston).

He has finally (against his will) started sleeping in his crib.

At his latest well child check up he is almost 17 lbs and 26 inches. That puts him in the 45th percentile for both hight and weight.

He couldn't be a happier baby. Even when we took him to the doctor sick with a cold she commented on what a happy baby he is.

We are so blessed to have him in our lives.

Daddy: Weston, are you are super hero?

Weston: No.

Daddy: Are you a rescue hero?

Weston: No.

Daddy: Then what are you?

Weston: I'm a crazy boy!!!

Weston: Can we open presents tomorrow?

Mommy: (pointing at the Christmas tree) We already opened all of them on Christmas.

Weston: We should just get some more.
