Spring Camping trip

The only time Weston gives a good smile in a picture is when he is genuinely happy.  S'more anyone?

Some interesting things this camping trip: Mike and I had just found out the day before that we were pregnant with #3. It came as a surprise to us both and we were able to just sit by the fire digesting the news while we thought the boys were snoozing away.  As we tucked the boys in we knew that Dallin would not just lay there an go to sleep. So we told Weston to just ignore him, he didn't need to tattle about everything Dallin was doing while he was supposed to be going to sleep, unless he was going to hurt himself.  After a while in the tent together we hear Weston call out "Dallin's not being very nice. He got into the baby powder and I can't breathe".  Mike went running, knowing how much damage Dallin can do with a bottle of baby powder. Sure enough, Dallin had emptied an entire, brand new, large bottle of baby powder inside the tent. Weston, trying not to tattle, just sunk to the bottom of his sleeping bag where he could breathe. Mike had to take everything out of the tent and beat it against a tree to get the powder out. It was everywhere!

Got daddy's hat!

Spring Break trip to Niagara Falls

Dallin would get mad if anyone other than Weston was pushing the stroller.

Looking up at the side of Horseshoe Falls.

We stayed at a hotel with a water park. The boys had a blast. Weston went down this tube so many times, Mike and I had to take switch off with him.
He was brave. It was a scary, dark slide.

Weston and Daddy racing. Looks like daddy won.
 I love this picture.
Dallin didn't want to go on any slides. He was happy to play in the kiddy pool as long as he had a bucket or a ball.

 The wave pool.
This was a huge bucket of water that would tip over and splash everyone below it every 10 minutes or so. Dallin was terrified of it. He would jump every time he heard it.
The boys got their own bedroom with 2 sets of bunk beds. I had to bribe them with candy to get them to stay in their bed and go to sleep. We kept hearing Weston (the responsible one just trying to go to sleep) saying, "Dallin get out of my bed" and "Dallin turned the lights on" for hours before they finally passed out.
It was a great trip. We all had a blast.
