What happends when you send a man to do a woman's job:

Would you look at this??? Mike is very capable of dressing himself and his son very well so when I asked him to dress Weston so we could make a quick run to the store I was surprised at what I saw! Are you kidding me? What were you thinking?

Dad redeemed himself when he dressed Weston for church Sunday:

So handsome....

And these lovely pictures were my fault. I was so caught up in the twilight series that the laundry didn't get done and Weston was stuck in 3T pajamas for the night. It cracked me up to see those feet dragging behind him as he ran around the house!
...and I am embarassed that most of my pictures seem to reveal my messy house! Stinkin' Twilight series!

Funny Pics from a Random Pantsless evening:

First, Weston decided he MUST have my potato that I was chopping for dinner that night!

Second, Some head banging in the evening:

And Finally, for dessert, Weston's new favorite: Chocolate covered raisins! Mmmm...

I recently purchased this new cookbook. If you love cookooks with pictures like I do then you will like this book. Anyway, last night I made the TASTIEST dinner ever. I didn't follow the recipe exactly as the book instructed but I think my version is better. However I'll give you the original recipe and let you know what I changed.

BAKED TACO SALAD

2 cups of cooked cut up chicken
1 medium onion
2 1/2 teaspoons garlic
12 corn tortillas cut into small pieces
1 cup sour cream
1 can tomato soup
1 can corn
1 can black beans
1 can chopped green chilies (I skipped these)
1 package taco seasoning
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cumin (I also skipped the cumin-blah)
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 cup shredded colby-jack cheese
1 can sliced olives

Lettuce
Tomato
Green onion (I skipped the onion and added shredded carrots)
Salsa

Cook the chicken and onion together. Combine chicken, onion, corn tortillas (don't use flour tortillas), sour cream, soup, corn, beans, chilies, taco seasoning, salt, pepper and cumin. Pour into a 9X13 pan. Top with shredded cheese and olives. Cover with foil and bake at 350 for 30 minutes, uncover and bake 15 minutes longer (until cheese is melted and bubbly)
While that is cooking make a salad however you like it on each plate. Top each salad with the baked taco mixture.
Optional: serve with salsa.

And if you like to see the picture as much as I do here it is:

Raining Gold Fish and Raisins

Oh my what a week. Yesterday in church Weston took his bag of snacks and was swinging it around so Mike grabbed it from him and and before you could say 'irreverent' the bag exploded and gold fish and raisins flew up in to the air and scattered as far as the eye could see. Luckily we knew the people in the row in front of us because they got the brunt of it.

Now today I was filling up the Pur water tank thingy for the fridge and while the first batch of water was being filtered in Weston somehow pulled the whole thing off the counter onto the floor. There was probably a gallon of water in it so far. I don't know how it didn't come down on his head. Arg! This kid is driving me to the loony bin! It's a good thing he is cute.

Take a look at my little concert pianist:

Who couldn't love such a trouble maker?

HOP ON POP!
