"adventurous"

Dallin has had an "interesting" few weeks. He has fallen off the table and the kitchen chairs a few times and he has taken 2 tumbles down an entire flight of stairs. His sense of "adventure" has left him with no sense of self preservation. I don't know if my nerves can handle much more. I'm going to need to find a tether so that he is always within 3 feet of me.

Here are some pictures of Dallin over the last few weeks. Amazingly with no bruises or broken bones.

Dallin sporting his new "denim" diapers.

Dallin vs. the tricycle (again, no fear)

Weston's first talk

Weston gave his first talk in primary this past Sunday. His topic was "Jesus was a God of Miracles". He told the story of Jesus blessing the 5 loaves and the 2 fishes and feeding thousands. We drew pictures to illustrate his story. He did such a good job! He spoke loud and clear into the microphone and didn't act silly up there. Mom was so proud she had to compose herself to continue helping him along.

Cookie thief

I didn't get him a cookie. Did you give him a cookie? There is a trail of evidence left behind.

Dallin has become quite the escape artist. I had to add a child-proof refrigerator lock to his chair to keep him off the table. (Of course, it only works if someone remembers to lock it.)

Grandpa Bob's Visit

Weston and Grandpa Bob wash the van.

Weston loves swinging the water around.

Weston washing the part of the van that grandpa already finished.

Dallin impatiently watching from inside.

Weston got Grandpa with the wet rag, and grandpa got him with the hose.

Grandma's birthday

Grandma's Birthday:
Dinner at her favorite "Buca di beppo". Presents and Carvel Ice Cream Cake.

Don't miss the picture of Dallin walking across the table and there are the hands of Cal, Grandma and Mike reaching out to catch him.

Introducing: The Tooth Fairy

Tonight at dinner we got to talking about the Tooth Fairy. I explained to Weston that once his tooth fell out we would put it under his pillow and the Tooth Fairy would come and take his tooth and leave him some *money*.
Mommy: What are you going to do with your money?
Weston: I'm gonna put it in my bank!
Then after a short moment of quiet pondering Weston asked, "What does she do with all those teeth?"

Mommy: ...uh, I don't know. Daddy?

This is my first experience with something "magical" because we didn't do Santa Claus at Christmas. Apparently, I'm not very good at explaining things like this, and he just might be too intuitive for his own good.
