Eating the batter really is the best part of making brownies. My friend and I ate an entire package of brownie batter once, thinking that would be even better than the cooked version. It's not. Apparently moderation in all things applies even to brownie batter! I'm glad you had such a nice visit with your mom.
I disagree, my friend! Brownie batter is better than anything. :)
